2010
The first rhythm
It begins in Yoruba percussion — the cord/omele, the djembe, the omele bàtá and the talking drum. Learning to speak in rhythm before melody.
Early years
Toward many voices
The percussionist develops into a multi-instrumentalist — saxophone, vocals and keyboard join the pulse, and Afro-fusion takes shape.
A banner of his own
A home for the sound
Olamide establishes a banner of his own for the Afro-fusion work — later growing into Lammy Wonder Creatives, the umbrella for the performances and projects to come.

Doncaster, in season
Nigeria in Doncaster Cultural Day, then a Black History Month set for the BME United Doncaster event — vocals, piano and saxophone for community and civic leaders.

Written, composed and performed for Stand & Be Counted Theatre’s Soapbox Spotlight in Sheffield — an original Afro-fusion work for vocals and saxophone.
